Location
Pinewood Lodge is situated close to the village of St Michaels, adjacent to both St Michaels and Drumoig Golf Clubs. It is approximately 10 minutes from the golfing city of St Andrew's, home to the most famous links course in the world, and 30 minutes from Carnoustie, another venue for the British Open Golf Championship. It is its unique location which makes Pinewood Lodge the ideal lodging for golf enthusiasts with some 30 golf courses within a 15 mile radius of the property.

Take the A92 past Glenrothes and Kirkaldy and stay on it until you reach the Five Roads roundabout then take the A914 to the St Michaels Inn then turn left to Tayport on the B945. Pinewood Lodge is located about 1/4mile down the road on the right hand side.
By Air
The nearest airports are Dundee (15mins), served from various locations around the UK including London City, and Edinburgh (50mins), which is an international airport served from around Europe and the USA. From Edinburgh airport a coach service operates between the airport and the city's Waverley train station, where a regular service runs to Leuchars (approx every 40mins), only a 2 minute drive from Pinewood Lodge.

By Car
From Edinburgh: Follow signs for the Forth Bridge and cross the bridge to enter Fife (£1.00 toll for cars!). After crossing the bridge, remain on the M90 until you see the junction signposted Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes on the A909. Follow the A909, bypassing Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes until you reach the junction signposted Cupar/St Andrews on the A914. Continue along this road until you reach Cupar, then take the A91 for St Andrews. After passing through the small village of Dairsie you will reach a roundabout where you need to turn left on the A914 passing through Balmullo, eventually passing under a railway bridge and coming to a staggered crossroads by the St Michaels Inn. Go straight ahead following the sign for Tayport on the B945. After approximately 1 km you will see Pinewood Country House (the Guesthouse next door) on the right hand side. Turn into the entrance and Pinewood Lodge is straight ahead of you.
